About 27 Waterfalls of Damajagua
The 27 Waterfalls of Damajagua (Saltos de la Damajagua) is a protected Natural Monument covering 6 square kilometers. Visitors hike through the tropical forest before descending the river. You navigate the canyon by sliding down natural rock chutes and swimming through turquoise pools.
You can choose your route based on your fitness. Most visitors complete the 7-waterfall circuit, which takes about two hours. You can read more about the routes in our Choose Your Route guide. The upper falls require a higher level of physical endurance.
The park strictly regulates safety. All jumps are optional, and visitors can use natural slides or wooden ladders instead. You will receive a mandatory helmet and life jacket at the Main Staging Area.
